Hi! My name is Rebecca Seamon, and New Pathways is the name of my private counseling practice. I provide individual, family, and couple's therapy to children, adolescents, and adults. I am located in downtown Round Rock. Some of my specialties are Imago Relationship therapy, EMDR for trauma recovery, and working with Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing clients.

I am an LPC Supervisor and offer individual supervision for LPC interns and first-year clinicians who are developing their private practice and/or therapeutic skills. I offer the following groups periodically: Imago Personal Growth Groups for Singles: Developing Healthier Relationships, Personal Growth Therapy Groups for Women, and LPC Supervision Group for LPC Interns.

Counseling is a collaborative relationship. My belief is that the most healing aspect of therapy is connection and commitment between therapist and client in the growth process. I work with clients to identify thought and behavior patterns that interfere with their ability to reach their fullest potential, individually and in relationships with others. Together, we establish and work toward attaining achievable goals for personal growth. To do this, we identify and build on existing inner resources, and develop new strategies and tools to enrich all areas in life. I also draw on my previous experience as a yoga teacher when appropriate to promote mind/body/spirit healing.
