Dr. Patricia Rockman is an internationally respected leader in mindfulness-based mental health care. A family physician with a focused practice in mental health, she has spent decades teaching, supervising, and developing programs in Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR).
As co-founder of the former Centre for Mindfulness Studies, Dr. Rockman helped shape the integration of mindfulness into clinical practice across Canada and internationally. She is a published author, experienced educator, and curriculum developer, known for bringing both scientific depth and lived experience into her teaching.
At New Pathways, Dr. Rockman serves as an Affiliate Advisor and Mentor, supporting the development and supervision of our MBCT groups and guiding clinicians in delivering mindfulness-based care with integrity and depth.
