Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy
In Person Group in Toronto for Nervous System Regulation
Join us for our inaugural in person MBCT group at New Pathways as we launch the opening of our Third Space. This group is an opportunity to practice mindfulness in community space that we have designed for helping us remember that natural connections and healing space are the foundation of mental health.
This group offers an evidence-informed, embodied approach to mindfulness that integrates principles from somatic therapy, relational presence, and nervous system regulation.
What is MBCT?
Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) is a well-established, evidence-based program for supporting people experiencing depression, anxiety, and stress. This offering builds on the core structure of MBCT while emphasizing embodied awareness, relational safety, and learning to be present int community.
Rather than focusing solely on cognitive insight or symptom management, this group recognizes that emotional suffering is often held in the body and shaped through relationship. Practices are therefore oriented toward felt sense, bodily awareness, and moment-to-moment regulation, supporting participants to reconnect with themselves and others in a grounded, compassionate way.
In a time of increasing isolation and disconnection, this group understands relationship itself as a key context for healing.
